Taking Chances World Tour
octubre 09, 2011Céline Dion y su equipo dejaron el listón por las nubes con el show A New Day… Cuando el show acabó en diciembre de 2007, el público estaba más que expectante por ver la siguiente aventura de la cantante.
Tras casi una década desde su última gira, Céline anunció en mayo de 2007 el Taking Chances World Tour. La serie de conciertos llevaría a la cantante por los cinco continentes durante más de un año.
La exitosa serie de 132 conciertos vendió más de 2.300.000 entradas y se convirtió en la segunda gira más exitosa de la historia de una cantante femenina. La dirección artística de Jamie King cumplió las altísimas expectativas del anterior espectáculo de Céline Dion.

Céline interpretó A World To Believe In a dúo con la cantante japonesa Yuna Ito en Tokio. Otra canción del álbum Taking Chances también se interpretó sólo una noche: A Song For You, durante el concierto en Estocolmo.
La canción A New Day Has Come sólo se interpretó en una ocasión, y en su versión uptempo: fue en el concierto en Seúl.
En el caso de las canciones en francés, On ne change pas y Tout l’or des hommes sólo formaron parte del primer concierto francófono de la gira, el 13 de mayo de 2008 en Amberes.
Grabaciones
La gira Taking Chances es probablemente la que más material audiovisual ha producido de toda la carrera de Céline Dion. Además de actuaciones emitidas en televisión, existe el documental Celine: Through The Eyes Of The World y los lanzamientos Taking Chances World Tour: The Concert y Tournée mondiale Taking Chances: Le spectacle.
Durante la entrevista Céline à coeur ouvert se emitieron clips del concierto en Mónaco, y el equipo de Céline Dion fue compartiendo imágenes oficiales de varias etapas de la gira en el canal de YouTube.
